Trailer reimx; Cage/Labutte Wicker Man as whacky fish out of water comedy. It does present Cage punching women as a much stronger comedic element than I think is healthy.

I give it an 87. It's got a beat and you can dance to it.

Toronto has an independant free WiFi offering coffeehouse called Linux.

As a second class computer geek, I cannot think of funny jokes about this. Please, loyal Bitterites, help me out.

Here is a few starts:

When you order a cappucino, it comes...

When you order a coffee, first you have to...

Your dossier has arrived in China and will be treated as having arrived before May 1st

So. That means that at this time we're, if lucky, going to be considered based on the previous set of qualifications.

We got a previous mail that says the current timeline is up to 30 months. Of course, the passports were supposed to take two months and we got them in a couple weeks. There's always some other bureacratic bullshit that could pop up, so I probably won't be letting a lot of the tension out of my body. To be honest, I've been pretty much a basket case over ther situation for the past six months, and don't forsee it getting any better anytime soon.

So. Yeah. Now, we hurry up and wait. And start saving up for plane tickets.

Wow. There's apparently a Harry Potter convention coming to the T.Dot in August.

That's pretty cool. They've got a nice downtown location (although the website makes the Sheraton look way nicer than I've ever seen it)

This is the musical lineup:
The concert is going to be amazing!! Starting off we have The Whomping Willows. Then The Remus Lupins, Draco and the Malfoys and finally Harry and the Potters. They will all have CDs for sale along with other merchandise.

I won't be going but surely SOMEONE out there is enough a fan to go. Selina? Lynn?

Felt like doing some shopping today, so I stopped by the record shop on the way home and picked up a copy of the new Rush album and the Beatles Love album for Cynra.

She enjoyed it, which is good. I enthusiastically got her to read Wisdom because I figured she'd like Skrull John.

Snakes and Ladders is good so far. Geddy & Alex are going to be on Q107 tomorrow. I liked listening to the album premiere on the weekend. I'll never forget Geddy's pronounciation of "The Main Monkey Business".

Rush has got what TBG craves.

"Ah, shit. He's alive. And he's bred! MotherFUCKER!" Or, Whatever Happened to the guy who used to beat me up in High School.

Yeah, I finally found out that the Alumni association for my high school is incomplete, as there's also an organization for people who went to it when it was just the top floor of an empty public school and an old grade school.

That's where, as the title suggests, I found out that a guy I never got along with (me=small, him= asshole; I'm sure the equations suggest themselves to you) was alive, and apparently has a kid. Well, I assume it's his. He may just be preparing to feed.

I mean, finding him alive was annoying enough (why is it that I recognize two people, one an old bud I'm glad to see, the other Jabba the Douchebag? Have I angered God? Okay, dumb question), but a family? I need to dig out the copy of "When good things happen to bad people" I stole from Grade 10 English.

Ah, well. Now I can stalk him by the internet.
