Trailer reimx; Cage/Labutte Wicker Man as whacky fish out of water comedy. It does present Cage punching women as a much stronger comedic element than I think is healthy.

I give it an 87. It's got a beat and you can dance to it.

WOW, even watching the re-edits of that movie all I can think is how badly they messed up a great old film. It's like a study in how not to get even a single idea to translate correctly. Moviemaking by bablefish.

The original is great. Christopher Lee is amazing, and I'm not normally a huge fan of his. One of the best parts is that (aside from a twist reveal at the end) you can easily watch it with the idea that the pagans are the protagonist, and this asshole christian is the antagonist. It works perfectly well either way.
