I eat a lot less French-Canadian, Eastern European and Hungarian food now ... my parents never really taught me how to cook that stuff. On the other hand, I eat a lot more food of other ethnicities ... curries were unknown to me as a kid, as was any kind of Asian food not generally associated with "Classic North American Chinese Take Out."

These days I normally regret cholesterol/sodium-rich food after I finish it, rather than avoiding it. I *should* change that.
