The neilsens have spoken

Let the screaming begin! LMOTP had two million people watching Tuesday.

That's a fifteenth of the population, watching a CBC sitcom.

It doubled (DOUBLED!) the ratings for its lead in, Rick Mercer's Report. That's kinda impressive.

Sure, the test is next week when the initial audience can make up their minds if they want to watch again.

PS3 observations

I submit this for the amusement of thetathx1138, but others may find it amusing: How Sony is fucking up the PS3 launch. I love the bit about the nigh unplayable launch game. That's cute.

Well

In consideration of Robert Anton Wilson passing away today, news that Anthony Michael Hall can't keep from saying the 'n-word' on camera seems rather irrelevant.

I wish I could find my copy of the Illuminatus trilogy these days. I think I have the compilation of the Shroedinger's Cat books around, though. I believe Steve Jackson has stated he will Sutee upon the pyre, and his remains will then be cryonically preserved.


Now I want to read Shea's Saracen book.
