Let the screaming begin! LMOTP had two million people watching Tuesday.

That's a fifteenth of the population, watching a CBC sitcom.

It doubled (DOUBLED!) the ratings for its lead in, Rick Mercer's Report. That's kinda impressive.

Sure, the test is next week when the initial audience can make up their minds if they want to watch again.

edit: Apparently, I forgot what day it was on. Whoops!

I gotta say, the commercials the CBC showed did not do it justice. After seeing the commercials, I thought to myself "That looks SO painful, I don't want to see it." But, after the RMR report, I was too lazy to change the channel (an acute case of Homer Simpsonitis), so we watched it. It's not that bad. They seemed to try to cram too much into half an hour because it was the pilot, but we'll probably check it out again.
