Heroes, One Season Later.

Hoo. I can't say I've ever been so dissatisfied to be right.

Okay, we can assume that the Petrelli boys are dead, which means they might, in fact, not be. Trust me, it makes sense.

It was strangely paced. And how close was Issac's studio to Kirby Plaza, anyway? Parkman hustles down there, finds nothing, sees painting, and still makes it back in time to be useless in the battle? With his donut condition, I find that hard to believe.

It seemed to be everyone tag teaming with Peter to beat Sylar, until Hiro showed up and ran him through.

Of course, it ends up that Hiro's prediction was based on faulty intel, since stabbing Sylar didn't do anything to stop the exploding man.

The highlight of the show was the end, with a preview of Heroes S2.Generations will bprobably go deeper into the previous generations of the Heroes universe. So we'll see Nakamura Sr, Claude (maybe), the Petrellis, Mr. Deveraux, and Lindrerman's 'adventures', although I wonder how much of it will be just them doing bad things.

One quick question: I've seen some people saying they thought Heroes was going to be a single season endeavour. Are these people retarded? Seriously, a network tv show in the US never stops, especially if it's successful. If Lost's ratings weren't wobbling on an axis, there's no chance they'd have gotten away with 3:16 and done. It's all about the bottom line.

I just hope Nissan doesn't get its fangs into the show quite as deep next year. The tital sequences will hopefuly still be clever.

Hopefully the novels are nice n' stuff. I notice they're asking if you've noticed the secrets in the interactive versions. Anyone found anything yet?

Ah, poor Parkman. I maintain that his real super power is intense bad luck. I hope things improve for him, as I'm quite a fan of him and his "donut condition". :P *grins*
P.S. It looks however that since Greg Grunberg is shilling for Weight Watchers these days, he might be out to ruin his cute little bod.

The season ender did seem somewhat anti climactic. But I'm greatful for that over some stupid plot twist such as all the heroes suddenly morphing together to form voltron or some crud like that. I hate shows that are amazingly engadging only to have an incredibly lame ending.

Did the ending, or more accurately the beginning of Pt 2, make anyone else suddenly think of Army Of Darkness? :D

Originally I was guessing that perhaps Hiro's father was Kensei, and perhaps has his own power, (i.e. super longjevity, or perhaps uncontroled time travel and ended up in modern day japan), but yes I have to agree with stop_no_dont that based on this new information it looks like it might be Hiro himself.

I don't know about Voltron, but it remains to be seen whether this new group bonds into a sort of SuperFriends team like the one that Linderman talked about earlier in the season.

Intense bad luck?

Parkman did pretty well, I thought. He's got a one-and-one record for fighting Sylar, which isn't bad for a telepath cop with a doughnut condition versus the series megavillain.

With a partial assist to Jessica for lending Peter her super-strength.

One slightly funny note: the Entertainment Weekly boards don't tolerate use of the word "Peter," so just about every entry about the show goes like, "I was surprised ***** was the bomb!"

That is funny. What's funnier is that people were surprised.

The status of the first match is debatable. Sylar did get away, but he had a belly full of lead for his trouble.

Either way, you're right about Parkman's stats compared to Peter's.

The assist raises the question: did Hiro get the assist on Peter's win, or did Peter get the assist on Hiro's win? Hiro was the guy that stuck the sharp thing into someplace that bleeds and collapses.
