Ignore the comments below. "Dark Knight Strikes Again" isn't much like DKR, but it's a heartfelt and very funny tribute to the Silver Age. Just don't expect more DKR, and you'll enjoy it.

Seriously, I can understand why people didn't enjoy DKSA, especially if they were expecting DKR all over again. But I really feel the "bad" comments come from the fact that it's not DKR all over again (which would have been BORING), and the experimental art (which not unreasonably isn't everyone's cup of tea; myself I wonder why everybody has floppy clown feet in Miller's art, now.) It's not Miller's best work, but I enjoy it quite a bit and I honestly think it wouldn't have its terrible reputation if it hadn't been so overhyped/delayed.
No one wanted a duplication of DKR. We wanted a sequel, an extension. Not this... THING. If someone wants to see a good silver age style story, as opposed to the pieces of crap that seem to be all Miller is producing these days, you need only compare the sublime All-Star Superman to the execrable All-Star Batman and Robin.
