Ravenloft Redux

Wotc is producing an updated version of the Castle Ravenloft module. At seven times the size and six times the cost (and hardcover), it's interesting to see.

It looks like a nice Halloween adventure, and it's always exciting to see an update of a classic module. Shame Hickman couldn't work on it.

And it contains new feats, items & prestige classes. Of course.

To my dismay, I'm missing the orignal AQ sourcebook (another missing item after too many moves), and the one local place that used to have it sold it the same @#$R%Ting day last week when I tried to find a copy to buy.

I do have some of the other AQ boxed sets, and the Sha'ir (sp?) sourcebook and they all look lovely. Do you know if Hairy Tarantula sells the orignal setting sourcebook?

It's entirely possible HT has a copy of AQ. I think they're likely the only local shop that would, which is kind of depressing.

I had a very happy moment a few years back when I I managed to acquire the entire sourcebox set for AQ at Pandamonium. One of them was actually completely messed up, but it was nice all the same.
