The Big Ad.

Saw it on City this morning. It is a pretty darn big ad.

Reminds me of that Rickards ad. Same tune, right? Man, I could suddenly use a beer.

Wait, I can't drink due to my erratic liver. Never mind.

It's not actually Nazi music. From the article about Orff himself:

"Orff was a personal friend of Kurt Huber, one of the founders of the resistance movement Die Weiße Rose (the White Rose), and who was executed by the Gestapo in 1943. After World War II, Orff claimed that he was a member of the group, and was himself involved in the resistance, but there was no evidence for this other than his own word, and other sources dispute his claim (for example [1])."

So we're not sure whether or not he was a resistance fighter himself, but there's no evidence to suggest he was actively involved with the Nazi regime.

Any more than the guy who wrote "It ain't a rag, it's a flag" is involved with the Bush administration. It still made him rich and reprehensible.
