Sep. 11th, 2007 12:29 pmI've been suffering from a strange pattern of dreams lately. It's almost comically stereotypical. I'm having the "it's the day before an exam, and you haven't studied!"
It's pretty annoying, to be honest. The dreams make me wake up in a very stressed and anxious state, which I get enough of at work/home. Feh.

Sep. 11th, 2007 01:32 pmYou know what I remember most vividly about six years ago today? The drive home after dropping Cynra off at work in the morning.
I was unemployed at the time, and I remember quite distinctly that the big news on 680 as I drove back home (which would have been around 8:40 or so) was that Michael Jordan was contemplating returning to basketball. That was a useless piece of info, so I went home listening to something on cd or tape. Probably Weird Al or Johnny Cash (those are safe bets for TBG).
Of course, by the time I got home, things had started to happen. I spent a lot of time sitting on the couch, and found myself conversing with a lot of people online. All the news sites went down that day.
the_adzo was still at Microsoft, so I was sending info to him and his office mates by MSIM. RPG.net disintigrated into howls of pain and outrage, and I stepped away from it for a while. I can't remember what the SJG forums were like (those were my two big ones at the time), but knowing that place it was probably kinda crazy.
It's not like you could stop watching. That's the great thing about this century. We can see everything. We demand to see and know everything, and occasionally we get everything.
It's history now. A day living on in infamy.
edit: Jesus. Now I remember what happened on SJgames. This. An extra prayer for the soul of John M. Ford.
