Adventures in Science

While hair dryer shopping w/ Snra. Bitter the past week, we came upon a model that declared, for all the world to know, its use of something Ionic.

So, in the spirit of goofyology, I proffered that model to Snra, loudly declaring "Look, honey! You can use SCIENCE! to dry your hair! Not just Any SCIENCE!, but Ionic SCIENCE!."

Of course, apparently Ionic SCIENCE! sucks ass, as she's complaining the dryer is either too hot or too cold on the high and low settings, respectively. Save me, Lord, I'm married to Goldilocks.

Holiday enjoyment

Relaxing for the week. Snra. & I went to see The Last Samurai last night. Enjoyable, despite the L5R players masturbating furiously in the back row.

I mean, sure the Samurai were just a really annoying feudal class and all that, but the movie plays the 'noble & pure' card and I decided to be pulled along.

Admittedly, it was kinda slow (after the first battle, we get an almost interminable training sequence), at least until the Ninjas showed up.

Sweet, sweet Ninjas. They make everything just better.

Did shopping for Uday & Qusay afterwards; picked up stuff (shhhh. They may be LISTENING). Uday's gift was, hopefully, sufficient, but Qusay's turned out to be very affordable, so we got him a negotiable secondary to go with it.

Vague enough, chillins?

Anyway, for dinner it was Greek salad w/ those delicious PC chicken breasts and a couple pork buns, and we watched ET. I wept like a child.

Today, plans to go museum hopping fell astray. We'll likely go to Elf and then out for Chinese.

Made a horrid mistake and visited the Toronto Trek message boards. MX' posting style, well, it aggravates the holy fuck out of me, and it's always GREAT to see Lance pulling gentle character assassination. Fuck you too, ya asshole (please, note, my sensitive liberal ability to not use any homophobic terminology during that insult).

Feh. Got to send off the last cards today (okay, so they probably won't be there by Christmas. It ain't MY fault).
