Mama Cass Elliot has been in the ground for thirty five years. She would be Gran'mama Cass now.

I think it's time we just laid off the weight jokes. Seriously. And the ham sandwich jokes. ESPECIALLY the ham sandwich jokes

Now I know it'll be hard, but this is a good first step. I mean, it'll be hard to switch away. For God's sake, she was in a band called The Big Three. But we will be strong.

And Karen Carpenter, now that I mention it. All the damn sandwich jokes. Seriously, what's WRONG with you people?

I think the most horrible laugh I've ever had was when I saw a "Behind the Music" about Mama Cass and they featured her daughter, very, VERY distraught saying "It wasn't a ham sandwich!" That was it. That was the whole cut.

It was so oddly defensive and childish that I just couldn't help it. I laughed my ass off.
