The show's finale has started to be abbreviated to an hour from two, and I don't know if I can handle the exoticism of Portland, Oregon (Isn't that were you used to live,
oakthorne?).
And now they're desperately searching for a cab. Excitement!
Last night was the annual Christmas party. Several people had to cancel due to illness, and they were missed. We had a good time overall, with turkey, mashed, dressing and cabbage.
We watched It's a Wonderful Life and chillaxed for a while. Feeding Frenzy can be a spectator sport.
The editing on this final episode is sublime. They've forgotten the Frat boys entire, and it looks like the cheerleader twins and the squabbling couple are neck and neck.
?
Aaaaannd... it's the twins.
Ahhhh. Ken and Tina have reconciled
Today I got together with Mike and a couple other guys he knows for Munchkin Quest. It's a board game version of the popular Munchkin card games.
It's good to see that they've retained the cutthroat endgame of the original card game. It's fairly fun.
Mike had also got a couple promo items, including a coaster and a special room (the troll bridge).
On the other hand, it's a great chance to make use of the Sad Trombone app on the iPhone.

Date: 2008-12-08 03:17 pm (UTC)Building the board is fun, although I can't help but find the two sided pieces a bit strange, since there's no way to control which side the player presents.
It's also built around expanding, like a lot of games, since there are four players of stuff in the box, but the "who controls the monster" die has six sides with six different colours on it.
