Ahhh, The Amazing Race and the aftermath of the Christmas dinner

The show's finale has started to be abbreviated to an hour from two, and I don't know if I can handle the exoticism of Portland, Oregon (Isn't that were you used to live, [livejournal.com profile] oakthorne?).

And now they're desperately searching for a cab. Excitement!

Last night was the annual Christmas party. Several people had to cancel due to illness, and they were missed. We had a good time overall, with turkey, mashed, dressing and cabbage.

We watched It's a Wonderful Life and chillaxed for a while. Feeding Frenzy can be a spectator sport.

The editing on this final episode is sublime. They've forgotten the Frat boys entire, and it looks like the cheerleader twins and the squabbling couple are neck and neck.

?
Aaaaannd... it's the twins.

Ahhhh. Ken and Tina have reconciled

Today I got together with Mike and a couple other guys he knows for Munchkin Quest. It's a board game version of the popular Munchkin card games.

It's good to see that they've retained the cutthroat endgame of the original card game. It's fairly fun.

Mike had also got a couple promo items, including a coaster and a special room (the troll bridge).

On the other hand, it's a great chance to make use of the Sad Trombone app on the iPhone.

Yeap, Joe and AJ used to be in Portland. (I lived right across the river in Vancouver at the same time.)

We were, indeed.

And we'll be back there, someday.

I saw Munchkin Quest in a store the other day, it looked like fun (at least, the outside of the box looked like fun, it could have been packed with killer bees for all I know). Is the game something I should consider acquiring?

Obviously, as we all know, I'm going to say that you should rush out and grab Munchkin Quest (http://www.munchkinquest.com) today!

(The fact that I'm one of the developers and that sales of the game help pay my bills has nothing to do with this statement. Really.)

Munchkin Quest is very much fun. I love it.

And I'll begetting the Battlestar Galactica boardgame tomorrow I think.

BSG is excellent. Very fun!

I think I'm going to agree with you. I love games that might have a bad guy in your midst.

Update Starr and Dallas are still dating in real life.
