I think a Minorty government isn't really a "We won!" so much as a "We didn't lose!"

While I mostly agree with that, I think the fact that they won more seats, making the minority smaller (or needing less help to achieve that majority) does present a "We won!" to some extent, whereas had they lost seats (or remained the same) and still retained a minority government, THAT certainly would have been a "We didn't lose!"
