I said Google was just like a James Bond supervillain? You thought I was kidding, eh? Joking around, eh?

Well, Who's laughing now?

Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha.

Via [livejournal.com profile] jwz, Google Sightseeing, where you can travel the world, or at least North America, via Google Maps.

Good game tonight. Grabbed dinner with [livejournal.com profile] mr_weasel, where he felt the power of The Smart.

The game gives me the feeling like nooses are slowly tightening around us. Huzzah. Half the time, when the GM turns to us and goes "What do you do?" it seems like the only possible answer is "What will do the least damage to the world in general, and us specifically?"

The GM's new TV screen is truly a thing of beauty, though.

Google Map's satellite feature is finally running for me. Astounding. Midway through Mississauga, there's a plane captured in mid flight on two separate frames.

Google is like a James Bond supervillain.

After a quick plotting of Milton to Manassas I noticed a few flaws. For example, it seems to think that going down the 401 to London/Paris, and back on the 403 to Hamilton is faster than just going down 25 & turning right.

I'd have to look closer, of course, but it seems to have some glitches.

Ah, well. It's just a beta at this time. Should have the edges filed off shortly.
