So, we got a small bonus here at work so I put it onto my Mastercard and decided to use part of it to pick up some stuff I'd had my eye on for a while.

So, I picked up the Warlords expansion for Civ IV as well as Bavarian Fire Drill, an expansion for Illuminati.

I think I'll need to see the BFD (what an acronym, eh?)cards in play, because I haven't played a game of Illuminati in a while. I think the card ideas were surprisingly similar to some I had, although I had different ideas for excecution.

Warlords, the Civ expansion pack, caused me no little consternation. For example, after I installed it, I put the main disc in and it wouldn't run. I assumed you ran it with the main disc, and could find no info saying otherwise. So I went "dammit, it's not working!" until a few hours later, after I played a game of Civ IV regular, when I tried the Warlords disc, and lo and behold, carnage.

I might even try a scenario or two, as they look fun. And thank GOD for the Great Wall, as barbarians are not my friend.
