So, Cynra & I made it out to Run, Fatboy, Run on Wednesday. Enjoyable RomCom. Simon Pegg is funny, as always, and Hank Azaria plays a smarmy dick quite well. A lack of idiot plot is a nice change; it's just a guy who made a huge mistake at the worst possible time, and a chance at redemption.

And, hey, incest joke in the first minute? Golden!

Afterwards, we headed over to BMV where YHB rooterd through their used comics bins. I was looking for Ambush Bug, and found one issue. I also picked up the Vertigo Angel & the Ape miniseries, Ben Dunnn's The Agents 1 & 2, High Adventure #1 (and shouldn't that have been in the H's?), and several issues of Agent X (1-4 & 7-10). I also got a Wolverine tpb, which I didn't actually INTEND to buy. Whoops. And a Dr. Who novelizaion of The Talons of Weng Chiang.

You need five and six to complete the storyline. Issue six is total Marvel nerd porn as Agent X, Taskmaster and Outlaw fight a whole bunch of second-string supervillains and Mafiosi, and it's got Simone's inimitable comedic dialogue, which I still find myself quoting.

Especially when the Tarantula or Batroc the Leaper come up.
