I don't know about your opinion of that comic.

I know I disagree with the fruit placement though.

The pomegranates and pineapples need to be switched.

A better question might perhaps be if there are any online comics you do like...? You are, after all, The Bitter Guy, and your seething sarcasm for all but the highest-quality literature is well-documented.

As for today's XKCD, I'm assuming he's thinking of those really-hard-to-peel and slightly bitter oranges? You know, the smaller ones with the thin skin?

according to people here:
http://syndicated.livejournal.com/xkcd_rss/94624.html
it's based on something in the NY Magazine.

I agree with the above comment in that I disagree with most of the fruit placement.

He obviously has some sort of weird issue with citrus, and therefore he is not to be trusted.

i totally disagree simply because I love grapefruit.

Yah, fuck the haters. Grapefruit rules!

I like grapefruit pop...

Mmm...Fresca... which I cannot drink anymore because grapefruit interferes with my chloresterol medicine.

Not even citrus fruit, specifically grapefruit.

And that proves to me that grapefruit are evil - the only fruit on that chart that wants to kill me by making my medicine fail.

Only the super-sweet stuff from Jamaica.

I imagine there may be less crazy sweet stuff somewhere...

Fucking peaches are not that easy, nor that tasty.

Everything else is 105% accurate.

The pit gets in the way though. Much more so than with say apples.

I can't even conceive of how you eat fruit.

Green apples aren't easy. They always feel like they'll break my teeth.

I agree wholeheartedly with his placement of peaches. The perfect fruit.

I do question why green apples place higher than red apples in the "taste" category. That would depend entirely on the breed of apple - there's no such breed as "red" or "green".

Really, the whole chart is subjective, with the possible exception of the relative ease (or lack thereof) of preparing a pineapple.

That is not how my chart would look. Nowhere near.

Right, ease would more or less be the same, it's my different tastes that would drive the difference.
