Moments of awkwardness

Finally took my iPod into the Wellness Centre this morning. Although music is a good thing to listen to while on the eliptical machine, vintage Abbot and Costello may not be. I think the woman working out beside me may have been somewhat taken aback when I called out "Third base!" and "Stay outta the infield!" at what may have been somewhat random intervals to her.

It's no worse than reading Terry Pratchett at the airport. You either start laughing out loud, or look like you're having some sort of seizure when you're trying not to laugh out loud.

BTW, it seems the Arrogant Worms are playing in Hamilton on February 8th at Hillfield Strathallen College (a local private school). Google for more if you are interested in more details (I just saw the sign as I drove by).

I allways listen to books on tape while working out, but mostly mysteries or SF, not classic comedy.

That might be a good idea. My wife has a bunch of Big Finish Who books I should try.

What's really annoying is that our local library lets you download audiobooks, but the system is Windows only.
