Today, two titans of the comics world come to clash in our arena (no relation to Arena, the comic series that has ripped me off, but good).
In the Red Singlet is Magnus, Robot Fighter! This hero hails from a future where humanity struggles to overcome its robotic overlords. Magnus is a master of anti-robot kung fu, which allows him to punch right through a robot's chest. In spite of his propensity to share fashion sense with Zap Brannigan, Magnus is a warrior dedicated to defending humanity against any robotic threats, both foreign and domestic.
The Metal Men are a cadre of robots, each fashioned after an element. Under the guidance of robosexualist Dr. Will Magnus (a coincidence?), they have partaken in a variety of missions to defend humanity against a variety of threats, from giant anthropomorphic catholic chemical vats that acheive a crude sentience, to giant flying manta rays that shoot flames, to their evil counterparts, the Death Metal Men.
Surely, this will be a battle to rattle the pillars of Robot Heaven! Who will be victorious, man or machines? You! Make! The! Call!
