Some things they ship internationally and some they don't. Software and boardgames (at least the ones I was trying to get) fall into the "not" category. Books, CDs, and DVDs, they do. You have my sympathies. We need to arrange some sort of swap-meet with some American friends... I'm still trying to get ahold of the Nostalgia (/not/ Vintage) editions of Risk and Scrabble, which are apparently common as dirt in the US, but up here, rare as hen's teeth...
Well, it's not clear to me that a purchaser with a US billing address cannot purchase things like that and have them delivered to an international address; likely it's that the billing address must be in the US...
ho-HO... although Amazon won't ship Hasbro's Nostalgia series games north of the border, Barnes & Noble will apparently. In a few weeks, my collection should be complete... muahahaha...
Tell me about it~! I was all excited to get a miniSD wi-fi card for my new phone (since Bell disabled the wi-fi, jerks) only to find out that they would not ship to Canada. Bastards.
I need an american friend who travels here frequently...
