I dunno if this is the same five minute bit you'll be able to see if you go to I Am Legend in IMAX, but it looks nice.

You know, I figured there would be some 11/9 imagery/parallels in it, but either it's only in this bit or they jammed a lot in.

Or possibly both. But, man, that's a fair bit.

I like the claw marks on Lady Liberty's face. Didn't see those previously. The fact that everyone's first reaction is to take a picture with their cameraphones is also a nice touch.

I get it, the movie is about the results of the SETI project.

I loved the camera phone bit. It was very true-to-life. It's like nothing's real unless it's mediated.

Like Heather in Blair Witch, man.

To my uneducated eye it looks like a Kaiju flick.

I agree, but shooting "from the ground up" seems to give the viewer a fresh take, at least going by that clip. I'm intrigued.

If only I could do the lips out of sync in text. "Its a giant monster! We must flee!!!"

Dude. Just the fucking trailer gets my heart going.

I don't have TV, so as long as I don't pay much attention online for a while, this should be a very fun film for me once it's released...

Of course, it'll be 1999 all over again; did anyone else have to patiently explain to various morons that Blair Witch was fiction?
