Behind the cut is this month's alternate cover for Buffy: Season eight. The series has been less than awesome, but I think this cover sort of makes up for all of that.
Less than awesome?! I loved the Faith storyline! ... I my be biased because I've been wanting a Faith centric storyline since... This Year's Girl and Who Are You in season 4 ;)
The Faith story, like the first one, is just dragging. There was way too little happening. They need to figure out if they want to pace it like a TV season or spread it out to fit into trades.
I just ordered a copy of DC Cover girls. Have you taken a gander at it? There are some beauty covers in there...and they have nothing to do with Captain America. think pin-up art themed around DC best, strongest females and sexiest females. Not all just T and A shots.
The pacing's not dragging for me, actually, and I like the peeks we've gotten into Faith's perspective. I do question, however, how Buffy can still be so irrational about Faith in the wake of their relationship during the final TV season.
And Faith as a Stone Roses fan? No way she's a shoegazer, sorry.

The Slayers as WMD aspect is interesting, but they should have put some smaller bits in there too.
