thebitterguyGame was cancelled last night, so I headed out to my FLCS to pick up the week's harvest. Got the new issue of Booster Gold, which continues to be rollicking time travelling fun. A-S Superman was out this week, and there were dickish Kryptonian astronauts and another lousy excuse for being missing from Clark Kent.
I mean, seriously, "I was trapped in my closet with several Thanksgiving hampers" is only slightly worse than the Clark Excuse after Death of Superman.
Got the final issue of WWH, which turned out to be both somewhat disappointing and the greatest thing ever. Seriously, there was a sound effect in there that is one for the record books, and I even enjoyed a fight between The Sentry (Marvel's disability collecting Superman) and the Hulk.
Also picked up the compilation of the first four issues of X-Men First Class. I THOUGHT it was the TpB of the mini, but I'll let Cynra take it for her library and get the trade for myself. That's a fun little book.
