I've been curious about this movie for a while. They did some neat gurrila marketing but it never took off.

There was a lot of "they" don't want this movie released and for a while there were a couple of secret email address you could write to and get really cryptic messages back. There's a lj group for it unholymovie which I believe lists a lot of what went on.

So that's what happened to this. Too bad, there was actually a little hype around it for a while.

Really? I had heard nothing about it before now. Is it supposed to be good? Were they aiming for a theatrical release?

Theatrical yes, and I even saw a poster at a local Boston theater. Guess that collapsed (it was through some company I'd never heard of.)
