Tell me: Is it crazy, or is it just... someone else?

Now, hypothetically speaking, supose someone who was a member of a specific fan organization was surfing for discussion of a recent event, and saw that one of the organizers of that event was publically slamming the fan group.

Would this member of the fan group be out of line for letting their fellow members know it was being said, and asking them if they felt the disparaging remarks were justified or out of line?

Just, you know, hypothetically speaking.
