Various degrees of crazy today.

First off: Neat article contrasting Studio 60 and Slings & Arrows. I'll bet Studio 60 will still have a better DVD package.

Secondly: Wish me luck, got an interview here at work today. Wearing nice pants and tie and footkillers. Have shorts & Serenity Now t-shirt in bag. And comfy shoes, these suckers are KILLING me.

Thirdly: Strongly wish did not have convention this weekend, as I am exhausted by the sheer amount of busy lately. I just want a day to relax. God, I wish we had a cabin.

Fourthly: Is anyone going to T'Pol this weekend? Anyone?

I will be on two Firefly panels, a comics panel (seriously, it'll be me bitching about OF with liquor in me. It'll ROCK!), my retro 1983 panel and a Lost panel. And possibly something else. Hell, I posted about it previously.

Oh, yeah: And our AC JUST DIED. Wheee! We've put on the dehumidifier and a fan to keep the cats from dying.

Good luck on the interview, dude, but I'm sure you'll ace it.

As for the T'Pol thing.... That con has seemed to undergo an exponential rise in suckiness the last couple of years, and if it keeps up at its current rate I predict a black hole will spontaneously form in the dealers room within the next 3 years. No offense if anyone reading this works for the con, but it's just not what it was, and I'd rather bitch about it than help fix the problems, like most true fans.

In other words, I highly doubt I'll be putting in an appearance this year. I hear the Klingons are having a totally bitching room party though. :-)

I don't recally any room parties lately, now that I think about it. And very few of my friends even go anymore.

Not to mention that the gaming has gone beyond a joke. I don't think they even have anyone organizing it anymore. They assigned a piece of hall and some of the meeting rooms in the basement last year.

Speaking of other cons, yeah, CONvergence sounds fun, Origins is always enjoyable, and there's Anthrocon this weekend too.
