I don't see this happening, for the simple reason that Clix aren't visceral enough for your average fratboy. Still, I see this as good for years of humor.
While I don't conisder myslef the "average fratboy," I do feel it prudent to point out that myself and some of my brothers play/played heroclix and thus could concieveably gloam to this. I personally plan on waiting to see if the game takes off be fore investing much into it. Just doesn't ahve the same appeal as heroclix for me.
Well, sure, but I'm assuming you guys aren't the epic assholes that drives everybody else on Live nuts. You'd teabag the corpse in an IRONIC sense, if you teabagged it at all. I just think it's unlikely HaloClix will broaden the appeal beyond those who already know the game.
Some do, some do not. I would say that it is not a dominant color in anyone's wardrobe. I do not because I do not look good in them. My chapter wasa bit unusual though, as several of the brother got together to RPG at the house on ocassion. And there was the day long game of "Machiavelli" that we had a full board for.
The problem with many PA cartoons is that they are essentially impenetrable to the non-gamer mind. In fact, many gamers find them a bit hard to penetrate.
Basic translation: Hey, guys! Frat boys (sorry, stop_no_dont play Halo and can act like dicks! They're gonna start playing HaloClix too! Look out!"

As in I'm still in awe of how funny that is. I just translated it to experiences in Battle Net and those same people play the d20 WoW game.
AMUSED.
