Vinnie Mack just walked to the ring here in Toronto, and what did the crowd say? A resoundng chant of "you screwed Bret".
Good memories, those Toronto fans.

I think they got back ahead in spite of the "villian" crap Vince was doing.McMahon turning into the shows main villian only really worked when Stone Cold was there as sort of an "every workin mans hero" kinda deal getting to tell off and beat the crap out of his boss.

Date: 2007-06-03 11:33 am (UTC)No longer on-camera, Earl argued with crowd members and shot the crowd the finger as he stalked off-stage after the match. Acting? Pissed off? We'll never know.
Although the whole thing was kinda fun ... man, with Earl gone for the last couple years, that is one piece of kayfabe that may live forever.

I think Bret got a lot better since then, but still has balance issues sometimes.
