Oh, yeah. While kaijugal and darthmarysue have been mentioning it for a while now, and eyebeams mentioned it today as well, it took me driving down Dixon and seeing a flock of Harajuku to finally realize that Anime North is on this weekend.

Man. I think it's been on for, what, 10 years now? I remember going to it in the UoT campus, walking up to the then moribund WorldHouse and beign unimpressed, and then driving back to Kingston jammed in a car with Peter Donald, Dave Pulver, Dave's brother Tim and someone else whose name escapes (the car was not big enough for five guys comfy, let me tell you).

That reminds me -- the novel I'm about to get to work on is essentially a con-anecdote story of sorts. But with a plot. :D

SO that's what's going on! It's right by my house and on my way to bring my sister some dinner at work I saw all the Con Goers. I was gonna ask you what was going on and what I should wear to pick up some Con girls. :)

It's an anime con; you need a Dragonball Z costume, or maybe an Avatar one would be more appropriate for your current do.
