This is a group collaboration between Tom Cochran, Paul Hyde and Murry McClachlan that IIRC was only released as a single.

I really enjoyed this song as a kid, and I've been looking for it since then. Can't find the song, but the video is good to have.

There's a version of it on Murray McLaughlan's album "The Modern Age".. otherwise it was only a benefit song for UNICEF, I believe.
