VIa the sex-tasticness of racialicious comes this story of a reality TV show about a quartet of Arab youths travelling across America. It sounds kind of dull, actually.

I think that depends on how stage managed it is. It could get a lot more exciting in ways they don't want if these fresh-faced young kids visit, say, Toadsuck, AK.

Well, it sounds pretty darn managed. But there will be tension when they... reveal personal opinions during radio interviews! Duh duh duhhhh.

Yeeee-ah. Sounds exciting.

If I were putting out a TV show to try and improve America's image, I think a more honest fictional program would do better. It seems to be a popular indie-movie cliche to show a Hindu or Muslim trying to reconcile American culture with "traditional lifestyles." Why not a TV show?

I was hoping for something more like the last ten minutes of an episode of cheaters, with clumsy fistfights and off screen security swarming the participants.

It all looks so... EARNEST.
