Well, the female half of 'RDnA' (Really Dumb n' Annoying) gave her notice today. Which is good, since I really can't stand her. There's just so little work one person can do before I hate them.

Just have to see if we can get the fey Filipino a new job elsewhere. Perhaps the dark side of the moon?

I finished Kavalier and Klay today. Not as good a book as everyone seemed to think. I picked it up because it was supposed to be about comics creators in the golden age. And for much of it, it was. But when one of them is a Jewish Refugee who's fighting to get his family over from Europe... Man, that just took the book in way different directions than I wanted to see it go.

That, and Chabon likes to foreshadow things with absolutely no subtlety, and he likes to introduce things five pages after he's started using them. It gets two stars out of five.

Since I completed Deus Ex, I've removed it from machine, and have reinstalled System Shock 2. Man, that's a creepy game. Maybe THIS time I can beat it.

Heh, I just started playing that again too. Third try, haven't beaten it yet. I feel good about this time, though. I'm on the Rickenbacker, and I have anough modules, nanites, and psi hypos to do pretty much anything. So, yeah. Maybe THIS time I can beat it. :o)

My complaint was that I got to the end, and you had to buy something to continue the game (a field degernator or something). And there was NO WAY to get more nanites. So I was SOL. What were they THINKING?!
