You know, someday soon, somebody's going to confront Joe Quesada or Mark Millar with a whole bunch of hard questions about the larger political questions this raises and they're not going to have answers. This entire arc is, in a really broad sense, tucking the neoconservative cock right in their collective mouth.

What bothers me about all this is that Cap's far more in the right than Tony is. Government accountability isn't necessarily a bad thing, per se, but if anybody knows about the ass end of government control, it's Cap. A good writer would have explored this instead of just making it about vague concepts, but I guess continuity is just too much to ask of the House of Ideas these days.

Actually, I can see why Cap would be totally against it, considering he's probably had more experience with government mismanagement than anybody in the Marvel U. Why Tony would be pro-registration, though...that's the hard one.
