ludickid just dropped a present in my lap!
What happens when amateur photography and amateur photographic analysis meet industrial grade paranoia/racism? You get Baron Karza's analysis of the Christian Action Network's photos of what appears to be a rural mosque. I like his analysis of what appear to be windows (or possibly just skylights) as sniper's roosts.
But what good is it living in fear if you don't have shit to be afraid of, right?
The usual talk radio sources (i.e. That goofball on 1010 who's on the drive home) are terrified because we've realized that the anti-terror laws brought in after 9/11 are somewhat redundant and un-necessary. The threat, they cry! What will protect us from the threat?, not realizing that the existing laws that are mostly constitutional have managed to protect us from threats such as the South Toronto 17. My favourite part was his wailing that even though we hadn't had to use them in the intervening 66 months, we might. Which makes sense, since we have al those nuclear missles lying around just in case some superpower gets twitchy over the oil sands.
