Yeah, but they're collaborating with the Wayans now, so the comedy value has been successfully leached from the work.

It's only David Zucker and "collaborating" is the wrong word; "repairing" seems a better one. "Scary Movie 3" is no "Airplane", but it was vastly better than the first two.

The original "Scary Movie" illustrates the Wayans love nothing better than to take a cheap joke worth one laugh and promptly beat it to death. The one-off quick shot gags, honestly, made me laugh; the extended ones made me either yawn or cringe, with the exception of the loud, obnoxious theater patron being beaten to death. Not subtle, but a scene long overdue.

The third one has much better flow and is just a better constructed comedy, although one wishes this was a full return of ZAZ, and it still has a woeful reliance on idiot humor. Still, any movie where a corpse gets 50,000 volts, an annoying child is repeatedly run over, and Simon Cowell is gunned down is worthwhile in my book.

He's an infamously bad director. This looks to be trying to capitalize on his reputation. It still may be really, really bad.

Dave Foley has fallen a far, far distance. He's hosted a celebrity poker series for pete's sake. He must have enormous debts to pay off, that's all I can say.

I live in a happy world where I assume NewsRadio gave him enough independance to do whatever he wants, and if he wants to make an Uwe Boll film with full frontal, MPTH.

Pretty much. I suspect he did this just to keep his name out there. Either that or the rumors about Uwe giving amazing head are true.
