The streets parted, and the plows passed, and even though it's too cold for de-icing salt to work, and let's all think about THAT for a minute, the roads have once again approached something like driveability.

I managed to make it into work on time today, so yay for that. The week's half done, and I can see the weekend from here (pencilled in on my calendar for this weekend: Cat appointment. Liin' la vida loca!). Talked to Uday yesterday about getting some documents from him, and he said we'll do dinne for my birthday next week; I've requested Cantina Mexicana, because I liked the menu and would like to try some of the other dishes.

Last night was quiet as Cynra didn't get in until late. I didn't actually eat any dinner, instead having some potato wedges from RCSS while I was picking up what was putatively the night's dinner. I guess it'll be soy Manwich tonight instead. If Yves is cheap, I'll use it, but hopefully the texture will be better than it was last time.

Fun drive into work today. Had two psychotic episodes. First one was some guy who when asked about climate change, started talking about the ozone layer. After I finished screaming at the radio, called Qusay for verification: Streeter guy was indeed full of shit. Secondly, CEO of Murdercap records suing Canadian government because he has had trouble entering country. Word of advice: Trouble crossing border may be attributed to NAMING YOUR FUCKING COMPANY MURDERCAP!

Amusingly enough: No record exists of Murdercap on the intertubes; the CEO apparently likes to talk before committees and make press releases, though. In fact, I sincerely doubt he's actually made 120 trips into Canada, unless they were for cross border pizza delivery, but that's just suspicion on my part.

Yeah, Manwich has never been one of the better recipes. I loved it as a kid, but then I also liked A-Team and Knight Rider.

When it comes to canned sloppy joe mix, I always prefer Del Monte Sloppy Joe over the 'wich.

You put tomato sauce in your taco seasoning?

I'm sure your wife appreciates your appreciation of the fish taco.
