You smell that? That's... victory

So Cynra & I had some folks over last night for Trivia. I'd intended to just lay the Star Wars DVD Saga Edition (man, that's a mouthful), but after my viscous trouncing of the attending players, it was decided that they wanted to play some Scene It!

We had cinn48, styrofoam_guy, and bnddbl07 and his GF over to play.

Since SW is a 4 player game, cinn48 brought a couple of her pieces from her SNL trivia game. So it was Yoda, Darth, Obi-Wan, Luke, Mango & The Guy Who Lives in a Van Down by the River in a six way contest.

I had some concerns that six players might not work out so well, as IIRC there are only a limited number of video questions per category. Since I managed to walk over them like an AT-AT over an echo base, that wasn't a problem.

Instead of repeating the debacle, they elected to play Scene It?'s Marvel edition. Won that. So we broke out the TV edition redeem147 Valerie got Cynra from Christmas, and I won that too.

Really, if I could use this power for good instead of trivia, I'd be dangerous, instead of just awesome.

My wife and I out performed a couple into not attending game night socials with us as well.

They just were not as well versed with movies and games. The irony is that the first time this happened it wasnt OUR game that we played. We were at their place and they broke out the SceneIt game and we dominated.

Then they came over to our house next and we played Concatonate (word association game) Reel Edition. More movie fun.

Trounced.

They stopped asking us to come over for trivia games. Oh well.

I think she's a member of the Trek/Tcon/TT/Polaris Security team with him. They're a cute couple.
