So Cynra & I took in Children of Men last night.

Man. There's a certain resonance to be found, at least for me, in a movie about the degradation of society after human fertility ceases to be.

Clive Owen continues to smoulder at the brink, and Michael Caine's performance was well done.

If you want a good review, Nick Mamatas has a good one.

In other news, it appears that Chinese beuracracy may not apply to us. I'm just too tired to think about it,but we've got the process at another step. Now to cash in my RRSPs.

Saw it tonight. I liked the book better, but still, I was surprised that it turned out as good as it did. The trailers make it look like a stinker.

This is one I plan to see and write pretty extensively about. I was amazed they even planned to make it into a movie at all.

"Chinese bureaucracy thing" ... I must have missed something. Are you guys in the queue to adopt?

I didn't realize, that's really cool. I know someone else who's in the queue as well.

All the best of wishes and "speediness" :)
