Caught up, a bit

Went to the FNSLCS today, during a pass through of a thousand different things. Returned the Wrestling book, and have started the Amazing Race book. Better.

We hit Chorizo for dinner, and afterwards made the comic shop. They were out of Locke figures. Caught up on 52 issues (what, exactly, is happening with Osiris? They're not gonna do a Superboy Prime with him, are they?) and got the latest Nextwave. As always, awesome, this issue had half of its space taken up with two page splashes, and had MODOK Elvises, which is a kind of magic.

Afterwards, it was off to see Casino Royale w/ Cynra. I didn't like it as much as some of you did, but God knows I didn't hate it half as much as some of you did.

Weekend about to kick into gear. Tomorrow is Star Wars marathon in KW and on Saturday it's off to a welcome home party for a friend.

Not looking forward to going back to work, but am looking forward to 2007, if only to ge back to game. Miss game.

I liked it until around the 1:45 mark, when I just wanted it to END, already. I wanted James and Vesper about to kiss in a blimp, or something, while the screen faded to credits.

In other words, I was longing for one of those sudden, stupidhappy, Roger Moore endings.

I'm up to week 32, where Osiris and Cap. Marvel Jr. agree to try to help each other get into the Titans. I gotta say, they're gonna have to hurry to pull all this together.
