So I can go back and shoot Paul McCartney before he writes that damn Wonderful Christmastime song, and killl whoever developed Coke Blak. My God, that stuff's an abortion of bad taste.

I have been lucky enough this year to not hear this latest assault on our ears from the aging insect. I intend to make it my holiday resolution. I pledge to run out of any store I hear this tune, even if I'm in the middle of a purchase, "Oh! No. I'm sorry; I can't purchase this at your store. I will not stand here and listen to this betrayal of modern pop music."

(Thank heavens I live in the bosom of Menno country that has the MCC store and Ten Thousand Villages so close at hand. These places are great places to buy gifts, and I highly doubt you'd find the aged insect's holiday cash-grab-muzak playing over their loud speakers.)

I liked Pepsi Kona a lot better. Not just the taste, but also how it was priced just like any other kind of Pepsi, and not like I was buying it at Starbuck's.

Um, I seem to recall that Coke Blak had "not for internal use" on the label. Oh, no, wait, that was the hemorrhoid creme. Well, that was an honest mistake.

Seriously, though - Coke with the essence of coffee? Seriously, who ever thought "Damn, what this Coke (tm) needs is a good shot of coffee!"???

As for Paul McCartney - he's old, he'll die. Eventually.

The main difference between Coke Blak and hemorrhoid cream is that Blak doesn't ease itching and swelling.

I haven't heard of this Coke Blak, but I need a can before it goes away! I collect Coke stuff, as you might remember, and I need a can, somehow. Damn my timing being here! I have, however, sent home cans of Coca-Cola and Coke Light with Arabic writing on it back home to place on the shelves.
