So, today was a nice day. [livejournal.com profile] atomiks and I took a visit to the Motorcycle show to check out some bikes and see Charlie Boorman. He's got a good summary here (with pictures).

I had fun. After visiting the bike show, you really want one. Especially one of those Urals with the sidecars. I want that picture of me on a Ruckus to be an icon, with "born to be wild" on it. Yeaaahhh.

Afterwards, we grabbed some Lebanese food for dinner, and I came home and picked up Cynra for the TAR finale at [livejournal.com profile] ketronic's. Very disappointing episode. The season was an interesting one, but the twists (early elimination on the first leg, Intersections, no challenge on the final leg, etc) were poor additions to the show.

Weekend over, new week starting. Not looking forward to it after the news [livejournal.com profile] racing_girl gave me.
Ah, well. Once again, short.

I didn't like anyone that was left in the TAR final three. The last team I could muster any excitement for was the blondes. The all-stars edition should be interesting, but I've heard that Rob and Amber are back, and those two make me puke. But it's got to be better than the family edition, right?

The good part of the last leg was Paris and showing that a good decision can be followed by a bad decision that kills you race. The Bama girls and their affection for Orly.

Sad that the race came down to random taxi pick once again, at least family edition avoided that problem.

Yes, no two hour final, not a good sign.

Hopefully All Stars will be good.
