Interesting the preponderance of Lucas and Spielberg hirings of Mr Wilhelm. Or do you think that's selection on the part of the compiler?

Possibly just the ones he found; I know that Lucas likes using it, and heprobably got Spielberg into it, so they use it in every film they do, where it's appropriate. I doubt there were any in, say, Schindler's List.
