Hiho,

Did you purchase Bat out of Hell III?

No... but "not yet". I plan to get it if nobody gives it to me for Christmas.

Cu,
Andrew

I understand many people like the man's music. I was never a fan of The Album, nor of Jim Steinman's follow-on career. The music just never appealed to me, I guess.

Yeah, he's done his own stuff. My bloke has his "Bad for Good" album.

Jim Steinman's done everything that sounds like that. "Total Eclipse of the Heart"? Him. That Celine Dion song that Meatloaf covers on this album? Him.

He also tried to trademark "Bat Out Of Hell" earlier this year.

I'm really more a Steinman fan than a Meat Loaf fan. Since his involvement with BOOH3 is minimal at best, I still haven't decided if I'm going to pick it up; BOOH 1 & 2 are among my favorite albums, and the source of at least two of "Our Songs" for me and Quel.

I do need a new copy of Bonnie Tyler's Faster Than Night album, though; that's almost entirely Steinman songs.

I actually downloaded Bat outta hell 3! But yes he's a great singer. I've never seen him live though although I have met him. The cover for Bat out of hell 3 is pretty cool too! He was great in the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I d/l'd it too, but you know, I don't think I've listened to it yet. :P

And, yeah, much Rocky love for Meatloaf.

There's no option for Not yet, It's also on my Christmas List.
Because Meat Loaf Rawkkkks!

PS, I also totally want to get the Twisted Sister Christmas Album, A Twisted Christmas.

I have heard it and it sounds fun. I mainly want to get it, so I have a Christmas Album that doesn't make me want to wretch when I hear it. It's fun, carries with it some nostalgia from my teen years and oh yea, Twisted Sister rawkkks!!! (Oh my God, my headbanging/rocker days are sneaking out again.)

There should be a "Not Yet" option.

Some of us don't buy anything for ourselves between the end of summer and Christmas.

Ooh, gotta go put that on my list.

I mentioned his album coming out before halloween when it was released. I went out first thing and bought it at 12:00am at the 24hour walmart here.
