Since I can safely discuss my recent purchases without dumping any felines from their respective sacks (THANKS, Gary), Cindy & I went to the Kingston Gaming Nexus (coming soon to a new location!) yesterday.

I picked up Chez Greek, the latest in the Chez Geek series, and it's as delighful as the others. Really, I can't see why people don't like them. Even if you don't like drinking and casual sex, it IS just a game. Really, now.

Also got Requiem for a God, which isn't as easy to get into as I thought. Don't know what I was expecting, but it isn't grabbing me yet.

Not much else. Am planning on pillaging the HT boxing week sale, but aside from that it's quiet.

Requiem for a God, like much of Monte Cook's stuff, is both solidly done mechanically and painfully boring to read. The man may know d20, but he is a dull, dull, dull writer without any of the panache I expect from gaming products that have no useful application in my current campaigns.
