Lost, Two Days later
Nov. 3rd, 2006 01:07 pmAh, man. I knew it.
Just like I said, you see sirens in the rearview mirror, it's game OVAH. Admittedly, Ecko's demise was even less pleasent than Shannon's, but quicker than Boone's.
Apparently, the guy who plays Ecko was a bit of a dick on set, so apparently it'll be no love lost.
The flashbacks were interesting. I guess not everyone on the show is seeking redemption; Ecko was definitely just trying to justify his actions, and in the end he was happy to justify himself as a monster who only let himself get sidetracked a little by guilt. Way to go, Ecko! If they choose to go forward with the Enkidu/Gilgamesh parallels, we can look forward to Locke now questioning his mortality, and trying to go beyond it.
At this point, of course, it is also possible that there's another Security System on the island, because of Locke & Ecko's wildly divergent descriptions of their encounters.
Good to see Lostzilla this week. It got a lot of screen time, mostly like a ghost in a horror movie, sneaking about in the background.
Man, that TVGuide.com Ask Ausiello column is addictive.
