Oh, yeah: Suxx0rs. Better than Final Frontier, but there were episodes of Voyageur better than Final Frontier.

The plot holes have been explored, so let me say: I did not have a good time. Repeat this not to my wife.

If you actually have watched Voyager, you're enough of a Trek fan that I'll take your word for it. Really, this is the first film in the series I felt no desire to see and I keep getting anecdotal evidence that suggests I was right not to want to do so.

You know, James, you don't have to be an American to judge things you haven't seen.

I was only assuming about the Voyageur episodes. I watched the pilot and would occasionally watch the openning. Otherwise, it failed me horribly.

Wow. In that case, comparing Nemesis unfavorably to it is even more damning. I'll definitely avoid this film then.

Oh, likely no go on the lunch idea tomorrow, alas. We will be stopping in at Cataraqui Mall when we arrive in town, to get our pictures taken with my Dad in late morning, if you want to meet for coffee or something.

I thought it was pretty good. What were your specific problems with it? I was in the mood for some entertainment and it did that. That and lots of star ship battles. They rock.

I just wasn't entertained. Picard was okay. Riker deserved a slap. And the whole story was predicated on some real stupid stuff, not the lesat of it being that you can detect a dis-assembled android from a long way away (which means Data is just a big ol target in the sky) and that you can't replicate blood in the 23rd century.

And that starship combat takes place on a one inch = 20 metre scale.

Did you notice that it was basicly just a remake of Rath of Kahn?

It was my favorite of the Next Gen movies, not saying much though.

It took some elements from WoK, but it forgot to make it a good movie.

The space battle was just dissapointing. The ground scenes were dissapointing. And they need Picard's blood? What? They don't have blood duplicators in the 23rd century? Oh, they DO! They're just lazy?

Feh. I want my money back.
