British doc on Blade Runner, via <lj user="cargoweasel">. Looks very neat, but I haven't had a chance to watch it all yet.

Word is this will be a bonus in the new Blade Runner DVD set slated for release next year.

That would be cool. What version is gonna be on the new DVD?

They talk about it near the end of this documentary. A film archivist is adding a lot of the cut footage including, presumably, the scenes with Deckard's partner. I'm definitely going to pick that up. Blade Runner has always been one of my favourite films.

Thanks a lot for this, by the way. It was interesting to see how so many combative and obnoxious people can still come together and produce an amazing film. I don't think there was a person involved with this production that came across as at all likable, but wow did they make one cool movie!

There will be allegedly three:

1) The original theatrical cut
2) The "director's cut" from 1992
3) A final director's cut freshly assembled from the original camera negatives.
