Well, that was sort of the opposite of last week: A weak flashback around a strong main story. A friend of mine actually speculated that Jack's help would be needed for surgery on the shot Other. I scoffed, noting that they'd hardly need medical help, especially since they were planning to operate on Claire to get the baby out.
Of course, he was right, I was wrong. Jack got taken in to help out.
Now, at this point we think we can see a picture starting to form. The others know Jack is a spinal surgeon (you saw the file). Did they kidnap Jack in order to get him to perform the surgery on Benry?
Are Kate & Sawyer there as hostages, to confirm his co-operation?
The whole Con on Sawyer was nice (fake pacemaker and anaesthetized bunnies), but why tell him it was fake, and then drag him out to the coast? The beating wassisface laid on Sawyer was, of course, quite enjoyable, and purely justified.
I must admit, it was nice to watch Kate crawling through those bars. She's very sexy when she's nimble.
Much more enjoyable to watch, and some plot was actually advanced. We have to wonder what'll happen if Sayeed and Locke storm the Others camp, and they're on another island. The Taye Digs Show's impending arrival fills me with a variety of emotions. I know there's only two more episodes left for the beginning of the season, and then the break and then the rest of the season.
Much to be learned about the others, still. Hopefully more details, but what show are we watching that there would be more details?
